Welcome to our online Instructor Certification Program 6 Revisited (ICP6 Revisited). Gracie Barra North America (GBNA) and its associates provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or use the ICP6 Revisited, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully.
Please review our Privacy Notice, which also governs your visit to our website, to understand our practices.
When you visit the ICP6 Revisited or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
All content included on the ICP6 Revisited, such as text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and data compilations, is the property of GBNA or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of GBNA, with copyright authorship for this collection by GBNA, and protected by international copyright laws. Reproduction and/or distribution of any of the content included on the ICP6 Revisited is strictly prohibited.
GBNA’s trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not GBNA’s, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits GBNA.
GBNA grants you permission to use and access the ICP6 Revisited for the next 24 weeks. If you do not finish the ICP6 Revisited in 24 weeks your account will be terminated. GBNA grants you permission to access and use the ICP6 Revisited and not to download or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of GBNA. This permission does not include any resale or commercial use of the ICP6 Revisited or its contents; any collection and use of any information, descriptions, or narratives; any derivative use of the ICP6 Revisited or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another person. The ICP6 Revisited or any portion of the ICP6 Revisited may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any personal or commercial purpose without express written consent of GBNA. You may not frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of GBNA and our associates without express written consent. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission granted by GBNA.
YOUR MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT
If you use or visit the ICP6 Revisited, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the information within the ICP6 and also of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer and Gracie Barra team members, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may take the ICP6 Revisited only with involvement of a parent or guardian. GBNA and its associates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel access in their sole discretion. You must indicate your school and your instructor must endorse your participation without your instructor’s endorsement you will not be able to take the ICP6 Revisited. You must fulfill all the requirements of the ICP6 Revisited in order to receive your certificate. The ICP6 Revisited is restricted to Gracie Barra Team Members blue belt and up and 18 years old and over only. If we can not confirm your membership, rank and age with the indicated school then your access to the ICP6 Revsited and any and all other supported materials may be voided with no refund of the registration fee. Your membership is non transferable and your membership fee is non refundable. The ICP6 Revisited requires instructors in the United States and Canada to complete and pass a background check. If a background check is failed there is no refund of the registration fee and the ICP6 Revisited certificate will not be issued. If a background check is failed before an instructor finishes the course in its entirety the instructor will lose access to the ICP6 Revisited immediately without refund.
For residents of the United States or instructors registering under a GB School in the United States the fee for the background check is $18.50 USD and it is paid directly to Sterling Talent Solutions. If there is a validated criminal record found in the following states there will be an additional fee added to the original $18.50 USD that the applicant will be responsible for paying. These states are Maine ($20), Vermont ($30), and New York ($65) and it is paid directly to Sterling Talent Solutions. Sterling Talent Solutions is responsible for running the tests and informing Gracie Barra about the results.
Please note, Gracie Barra allows White Belt students to register and complete the online portion of the ICP course only but does not provide certification nor will the White Belt student be listed on the Gracie Barra website as an instructor. White Belt students are not permitted to instruct classes at Gracie Barra and therefore cannot complete the Practical Activity Report requirement to become a certified instructor. White Belt students may take the ICP course solely to learn more about the GB Method; not to become a certified Gracie Barra Instructor.”
By visiting GBNA and the ICP6 Revisited, you agree that the laws of the state of California, USA, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and GBNA or its associates.
Any dispute relating in any way to your use or visit to the ICP6 Revisited or GBNA shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in California, USA, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate GBNA’s intellectual property rights, GBNA may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of California, USA, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrators award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY
We reserve the right to make changes to these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
